  1. I just discovered Sita Sings the Blues today while googling some old Ramayan stories from my childhood. When my mother told me that story, I was always upset how it ended and thought Sita really got a rotten deal–I was rather pissed off at Rama!

The trailer looks great, I’m glad I discovered you just in time to catch your next LA screening. Get well soon!

  2. Holy shit! I just caught the LA screening last night. You’ve made one hell of a film. 😀 Awesome and beautiful and funny. Thank you.

(And I’m sure you heard there was a swarm of people after the show – myself included – scrambling to get a DVD copy…)

  3. Was so sorry not to see you at the show last night! Aseem was great, but he’s not a Uni High alum, now is he.

The film is excellent; we were blown away. Was sorry not to be one of the lucky ones to get a DVD but I was happy to get the DVD of other Nina animations. Hopefully we’ll be able to get the DVD through other channels later on.

  4. Truly the most beautiful film that I’ve seen all year. And the fact that you did it all by yourself? You are my hero, Nina!
