“Shunra” suggests something closer to a caracal or a lynx than a housecat. Either will happily nom on a kid. 🙂
Maybe it was a different sort of cat, like a serial cat or a mountain lion. I imagine it would have to be a fairly large cay and a 2-zuzim sized goat, which is to say, puny.
