The Fourth Plague: Flies (rough)

Shofar, sho good:

“21 Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.” –Exodus 8, King James Version

Like Lice before it (and Locusts to follow) this Plague has Oingo Boingo’s “Insects” (1982) as a soundtrack. Lyrics:
Flying insects everywhere!
Flying insects buzzing, buzzing, buzzing through the air
Just like little diamonds in the sky
Insects buzzing in my eye!
Buzzing insects make me want to dance!
(Dance, dance, etc.)

This is still rough. Things will change before it goes into the final Seder-Masochism movie, not least by the addition of sound effects. Notice Aharon is in this scene, blowing a shofar with Moses. I might retroactively stick him in a few other scenes too, since he seems OK.

  1. It’s a lot of fun to see these as you complete them. Are you also planning on releasing the original Flash files as you did with Sita? As a novice flash animator it was really fascinating to be able to see how you animated each scene.

It was surprising sometimes to see that some of the complex animations and scenes were animated with only a few really effective tweens. Getting to poke through your files were definitely a learning experience to take to heart, an animator don’t need more tweens, just more effective tweens.

  2. I don’t know if this messgae really gets to you , but still i am gonna try , lol. I saw your sita sings blue movie , i liked it , just did not much appreciate few things which kind of tends to play with hindu sentiments like by the way the narrator comments on life of sita & her sex life who is like god for us. Anyway, i also want you to know i saw your youtube video on UMBC tube & i loved it , you explained so many things about film making , thank you.
I want to produce, direct , make neo-realistic films closely related to social life of common people & let me tell you sita sings blue is an amazing work of talent fractured with your hardwork , we appreciate it , i salute your free work culture , thanks once again , in your youtube video you mentioned what all hardship you went through for releasing this films , you inspire me and tons of other film makers , if you can make a feature film at age 34 ? or so i am sure i also can follow your footsteps and hope to do some amazing works.
P.S. I wish you all the best, thank you once again, we love you nina.
