Someday Sita will have real nice silkscreened T-shirts and other quality merchandise. Until then, there’s this temporary on-demand cafepress store.
Even the clock keeps tickin’, Daddy Won’t You Please Come Home?
Also, you can download free posters here.
The Sita Sings the Blues trailer is up for a Freddie Award in the “Best Design” category. It’s one of those “viewer-votes” things – aka “get the filmmakers to do the publicity and spam everyone they know to go to your site and increase its ratings for advertisers and investors” things – so if you have the time and inclination and don’t mind being used as a pawn please go here and vote for it.
(Unrelated to the Freddie award, there’s a newer version of the Sita trailer featuring the soon-to-be-infamous “shadow puppets” on the Tribeca site (click the “trailers” tab). )
Remember those Sita Sings the Blues posters? Well I have about 50 of each design* here, and a sharpie to sign ’em, and a big box of mailing tubes. If you contributed $500 or more to Sita, just email me your preferred shipping address and let me know which design(s) you want and I’ll mail you one (or both) as a thank-you. Everyone else, I’ll mail you a single poster for $70, or two in the same tube for $100 (paypal only – please use “donate” button on right column). For outside the US, please add $15. But please let me know within one week, I hope to get these out the door by March 6.
*Fire (left) is European A2 size (16.5 × 23.4 inches) and Goddess (right) is the larger A1 size (23.4 × 33.1 inches).
Both! Big thanks to Markus for getting these printed in Berlin.
The “Goddess” poster is A1-size – big!
“Agni” is A2, smaller but more convenient.
Thanks to your excellent comments, I’ve modified my poster designs. Now which do you like best?
Which is best? Inquiring graphic designers want to know. Thanks for your help!
