Well it’s been a full month since I posted this, and I’m only sicker now. More than 2 months of coughing, plus conjunctivitis and nosebleeds. Just started my second round of antibiotics.
Nampons are a godsend for nosebleeds.I am a prisoner in this sick body that does not get well.
I wanted to comment asking how you’re doing after the Coughmonster and the ‘Zac, but figured you’d be all patched up and busy cycling. 2 months sick, that’s awful. Great pix tho.
It sounds seriously sinusy. I do the high-volume neilmed saline irrigation, steamroom, soft cotton handkerchiefs, and eat enough raw garlic and oregano oil to be deported from Italy. I’ve not yet been desperate enough yet to try the diluted baby-shampoo saline irrigation that’s trendy in studies after sinus surgery. I bought Nampons for the hilarious pun, but it turns out they save lives.

Hello, Nina! I have been a fan of your work for a while. In particular, this old recovering Catholic really enjoys the imagery of your “Apocalypse Animated.” I think you totally captured the Apocalypse’s weird combination of bloody violence and religious ecstasy. And you added a bit of humor to it here and there, so witty! I am so sorry to hear about this illness you are going through. May your doctors get you back on your feet pronto.
