Dear Ms. Paley,
I saw some of the work you did on Sita sings blues and as a follower of Vedic Religion (which is widely known as Hinduism), I feel deeply humiliated on religious front with some of your work.
Hindus are generally very tolerant people, and I would like to make a heartfelt request to either correct the story to suit the spiritual facts or stop the screenings etc for it.
If you are trying to associate your personal situation and create cartoons, I would say it could match to some Muslim women in Mohammed era and create cartoons along showing him and see the response you get. Just because Hindus are tolerant please don’t make fun of their religion.
