The cat is named Lola. She lives with me along with Momo, who is big and fluffy and orange and hides form strangers. A sound-insulating door separates this wing of the house from the rest, so you can shut the cats out if you want. They’ll still roam the kitchen and living room.When my Momz moved out to the “independent living” place half a mile away, she left the walls bare. It took me 4 weeks to realize I could hang my art quilts on them.The bed has a very high quality queen mattress. The rugs are repurposed from elsewhere in the house. The end tables are from Craigslist, because of course they are.The Shedu knows. I made these before I started animating my film Seder Masochism (sedermasochism.com).The room has a bank of custom made, ginormous wood closets.It’s a very big room. That nook on the left can fit a small desk, I just haven’t found the right used one yet. I should probably put another rug on the stone floor, which can get cold, unlike the bathroom floor, which is heated.The bathroom was completely remodeled/rebuilt a couple years ago and has a HEATED FLOOR, a Bio-Bidet toilet seat, and a walk-in shower.The center closet has these drawer thingies. All 3 closets have hanging rods for clothes. Lots of storage space.Yeah I should put an area rug on that bare stone. The house was built in 1956 I think, and is classic mid-century modern.Renter can help choose the area rug! That long table below Shiva came with the bedside tables. It’s very heavy and has shelves for yet more storage. You can also sit on it like a bench. Or tell me to move it to the garage. Oh yeah, the suite can be entered through the garage if you want more privacy than coming through the front door.
