  1. Cool! I love the style you’ve been developing for this project. The wings are fascinating. The 2D animation here has so many layers it almost creates a 3D effect.

  2. Yeah, the ancient Egyptians whose art I based this on should have googled for “hawk claws.” 😉 Actually its feet are from its standing position. But if you want anatomical accuracy you’re barking up the wrong tree here.

  3. Hi Nina,

    Can you please email me?

I wanted to suggest am animation project that would be useful and would catch on I think.

  4. Ahhhh… Your visions are so beautiful and inviting.

My only criticism is the size of the wings. Yes, they are foreshortened I realize, but… I had a hawk nearly bonk me in the head last year (literally blew my hair up with the wind from his wings) and the wing spand was enormous! A hawk is not a falcon, true. But y’know…. I am the monarch of the seemingly simple but actually the $20,000 suggestion.

Cannot wait for your next project. “Sita” is brilliant and I keep buying copies 4 or 5 at a time to hand out to friends and total strangers.

  5. I love this! And I am so happy the work on your next film goes forward. Totally looking forward to see this. The falcon is amazing, has a 3D look to it. 🙂 Thanks for sharing the progress with us!
